Jack Jack: 5 Months. And also...

...he ROLLED OVER!!!

Yayyy Jack!!
He has been so, so close to rolling over back to tummy for a couple weeks now.
Finally yesterday he did it all by himself!
Then tonight he did it again so I grabbed the camera and he did it again!
Daddy hasn't seen yet since Jack is in bed before he gets home
so it's great that Jack did it for the camera!

Okay so I'm a couple weeks late in posting about Jack at 5 months but better late than never!
Jack eats rice cereal mixed with banana oatmeal every night.
He tries every kind of food I have (well...the sauce of the food)
minus peanut butter, honey and other no-nos.
So far he has tried spaghetti sauce, alfredo sauce, mashed potatoes, gravy, cranberries, ranch dressing, mayonnaise, ice cream, lemon (yes, straight up lemon), BBQ sauce, and many more! So far he has loved everything he has tried...even the lemon.
PS He gets like one or two finger dips of the food. Don't freak out.
He rolls over back to tummy, yay!
and I know he CAN roll over tummy to back but he still doesn't do it.
He loves any toys that make crinkly sounds.
He takes 3-4 cat naps every day but we are working on getting that to 2 regular naps.
He laughs whenever you say "boo!"
He learned how to blow raspberries and thinks it's hilarious...
and he is so proud of himself whenever he does it.
He can sit up unassisted for 5-10 seconds.
He gets to eat at the table in his big boy high chair now...he loves it!
He doesn't fit in his Bumbo anymore. His thighs are too chunky and they get stuck haha!
He loves to read books.
He is very smiley & happy.
He LOVES the TV...just like Daddy.
Everyone says he looks just like Daddy. It's true.
He still loves his binky.
He's attached to Mr. Bunny.
He would always rather stand up than sit or lay down.
He is in size 3 diapers and size 6-9 mo clothes.
He weighs around 19 pounds.

We love our little Jack Jack to pieces and are so enjoying watching him learn and grow!

  1. yay Jack Jack! I love that he is SO proud of himself after he rolls over! He is TOO Cute!!!! So, Jaxon is probably 20 pounds right now... and is in 6-9 or 6-12 month clothes haha! I Love that Jack is chubby!!! :) I have a skinny child. I wish he had thigh rolls! Love seeing your updates! Miss you!

    1. Hahah Chelsy! I hope one of mine is tiny because Jack is SO heavy!!! Tom started walking at 7 months, 1 week and I'm kind of hoping Jack follows suit because I don't know how much longer I can tote him around everywhere haha!
