My gorgeous little sister nominated me for the Liebster Award.

Here's the scoop:

1. List 11 facts about yourself.

2. Answer the questions of the person who nominated you.

3. Create 11 new questions.

4. Nominate 11 new bloggers.

So I thought this could be fun and sounds like a great way to promote new/growing blogs.

I started doing my post and then came in to edit/finish it today and BAM I somehow deleted the entire thing!

Say whaaaa.

+ grrr.

Here we go again.

1. I'm a wife to the most ahh-ma-zing husband ever and mama to two handsome little boys.

2. I'm a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints

aka I'm a Mormon.

3. I'm a lover of soccer. I used to play but then got into coaching a few years ago and now readily admit I love coaching 10x more than playing. Sure do miss my Utah Sol girls.

4. I love to shop...at Target.

5. I'm one of 6 kids. I have two brothers and three sisters. They're da bomb.

6. I love all things DIY.

7. I'm a born & raised California girl. 

I even have the valley girl lingo thing going for me.

8. I worked at In N Out in high school.

"Would you like fries with that?" HA.

9. Once upon a time I was a 911 operator.

10. I could eat pizza every day.
11. Pretty sure most of my closet is polka dots or stripes.

On to Kelli's questions!

How would you describe your blog? (what do you blog about?)

It's probably best classified as a "lifestyle" blog. I think I could also fall under the "mommy blog" category since the majority of my posts are about my little boys but I also throw in the occasional outfit post, DIY post, printables, life in general, etc.

Where do you shop the most? Why?

Target, easily. They have everything under the sun and it's all cute. Plus the deals are killer.
I somehow always walk out of there with at least five things that weren't on my list.

What is your dream job?

I'm being completely honest and not cheesy at all - I have my dream job as a stay at home mom. I've had a lot of different jobs and this one is the best ever.

What is your favorite all-time book?

Children of the Promise series by Dean Hughes.

I've read all five books like four times.

What is your favorite way to work out?

I really can't say I love to work out.

I do it but I don't love it.

But my favorite ways are probably running or Blogilates.

PS I take it all back - playing/coaching soccer is the best way to work out.

Knowing what you know now, what advice would you give your 13-​​year-​​old self?

Be nice to everybody.

And also. Don't be so eager to grow up - just enjoy "now."

 What is one skill you want to master?

I would love to learn to play the piano!

First I need to learn it at all before I'm going to worry about mastering it though ha!

 Where is your favorite place you have traveled?

Indonesia. Easily.

Maybe mostly because it's the only cool place I have ever traveled?

But I would go back in a heartbeat

[granted, only with my husband who speaks Indonesian fluently!]

And spend a lot of time on the beautiful island of Lombok.

What is your favorite blog?

Just one?! I have to say I really love the things Lauren posts over at Lauren Elizabeth.

I don't think I have ever been disappointed by a post.

 What is your favorite blog post you have written?

2013 in Review.

Mostly because it reminds me how blessed we are and what a lovely life I have!

 What is your favorite childhood memory?

Anything to do with my siblings.

We had so much fun together!
