Since the My Life in Lists prompt this week is about books I thought it would be a good time to do this post I've been thinking about for awhile now: our top 10 toddler books!
2. I Love You Through and Through by Burnadette Rossetti-Shustak
3. Little Blue Truck Leads the Way by Alice Schertle
4. Dear Zoo: A Lift the Flap Book by Rod Campbell
*probably our very favorite book!
5. Llama Llama Nighty-Night by Anna Dewdney
6. Birthday Monsters by Sandra Boynton
7. Moo Baa La La La by Sandra Boynton
*we read this one so much that I have it memorized
8. Pajama Time! by Sandra Boynton
9. Blue Hat, Green Hat by Sandra Boynton
10. Where's Spot? by Eric Hill
These are our top 10 favorite toddler board books according to Jack who is 21 months.
We read Little Blue Truck Leads the Way like every single night before bed and he loves it every time.
My First Book of Learning is one of the best I've found for teaching numbers and colors and first words, etc.
Sandra Boynton's books are seriously hilarious and you almost cannot go wrong buying any one of her books!
Dear Zoo is the cutest, cutest little book ever. Thanks to my SIL, Alyson for buying that one for Phillip at his baby shower. It's a huge hit around here.
Llama Llama Nighty-Night is just so catchy and Jack adores it. Thanks to my sister, Laurin, for getting that one for Jack on his first birthday.
What are your favorite toddler books?
I'd love to know!
Sandra Boynton is a favorite at our house as well. My Little Guy's favorites are "One Two Three" "Opposite" and "A to Z"
ReplyDeleteWe don't have One Two Three yet...I'll have to check that one out next time I'm at Barnes & Noble!
